The cottage boasts a large, light filled, kitchen and dining area well equipped with a fridge and separate freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, slow-cooker, coffee machine, food mixer, ipod dock with radio and other modern appliances.

The dining area has a solid oak table and chairs with brown leather seats from where there are double-aspect windows with views across the dale as far as Castle Bolton. A newly sealed flagstone floor adds character to the extensive modern cream units.

The spacious, square lounge is charming and full of character with ceiling beams, a multi-fuel stove in the fireplace (logs provided), a cushioned, flagstone window-seat, quaint built-in shelving and carpeted throughout. It contains ample comfortable seating and lighting, a 32-inch smart sky TV and Playstation 2 with plenty of games. The bookshelf contains extensive information on the area including numerous guides on walks as well as a comprehensive set of maps.
