Flag Cottage is an extremely well-appointed self-catering holiday home which is located in the picturesque village of West Burton, nestled in the splendour of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

It is a charming spacious, recently refurbished traditional stone cottage with all modern conveniences, own private garden, driveway and panoramic views of Wensleydale. A 7KW Electric Vehicle Charging Point (EVCP) is now available in the garden.

Flag Cottage is extremely well-equipped and comfortably sleeps four people in two good sized bedrooms with a lounge and separate dining kitchen. We welcome dogs, a maximum two.

We are very pleased to announce that Flag Cottage has consistently been awarded a 4-Star Gold Award rating by VisitEngland, as one of the highest scoring properties in its category.

This tranquil rural village has a well-stocked grocer shop, butchers, tea room and popular pub. Many attractions of the northern Dales are within easy reach with fabulous walks starting directly from the front door.

All year round, this accommodation welcomes visitors to relax and enjoy the Dales in sumptuous surroundings. We reassure our guests that Flag Cottage reopens with the government/industry accreditation confirming provision of “Covidsafe” accommodation for you to relax and enjoy your holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flag Cottage which is a charming, cosy, characterful, peaceful and homely cottage with everything you need for a week away from home - in fact it is home from home! Stunning view from the quaint and pretty garden across to Bolton Castle. Looking forward to returning to Flag Cottage as soon as we can - thank you for making the cottage so welcoming!
